Gabrielle is a fictional character on the series Xena: Warrior Princess played by Renee O'Connor and created by Robert G. Tapert. Gabrielle starts out as a curious and idealistic scholar with a penchant for story telling who attached herself to the warrior, Xena as her partner and sidekick. Gabrielle changed dramatically over the length of the series, abandoning youth and naivety for maturity, and the skills of a warrior.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
