Freya is a fictional character on the series Stargate SG-1 portrayed by Vanessa Angel. She is the host of the Tok'ra Anise. Little is known about her. She is attracted to Jack O'Neill and though he never returned the feeling, having a particular wariness of Tok'ra, he did prefer communicating with her rather than Anise. Anise once stated that she wrote her journal by hand because Freya liked the sensation of writing on paper.

Mythology

Ancient Norse. Also called Freyja, she is the Goddess of Love and Fertility and as such, she is very voluptuous and beautiful. She is also the patron Goddess of Childbirth and Crops. She owns a Cloak of Feathers, which allows her to change into a bird.
