Freddy vs. Jason is a 2006 horror movie crossover incorporating characters from the Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street film franchises. The villains of both franchises, Jason Voorhees and Freddy Kreuger are once again terrorizing teens. Left powerless by a successful attempt on the part of the parents of Springwood to make their children forget about the evil villain, Kreuger frees Jason from hell to dredge up terror inside Springwood teens. When Jason begins to kill the teens Kreuger seeks to terrify, Kreuger becomes angry and the two villains turn against each other. Several teens must find away to get Jason back to Camp Crystal Lake and Kreuger out of his dream world and force the two to destroy each other.
