Freddy's Nightmares is a 1988 anthology series based on the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. The series was hosted by Robert Englund portraying film villain, Freddy Krueger. Krueger occasionally appeared in episodes but the show focused mainly on the nightmares of Springwood's residents. Many episodes featured a minor character who would become the focus of a followup episode. The syndicated series lasted two seasons.
