Fred Olen Ray (September 10, 1954 - ) is a prolific American director, producer and writer of low-brow independent films. A former TV station engineer and low budget makeup artist, his fan-boy mentality results in some fascinating casting of old-timers, but the movies themselves rarely live up to their gimmicky titles. Some of his works are The Brain Leeches (1977), Alien Dead (1980), Little Miss Magic (1997) and Tomb of the Werewolf (2004).
