Fred Freiberger (b. February 19, 1915 – March 2, 2003) is an American screenwriter and producer born in New York City, New York. Freiberger contributed to several genre films and series including The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953), World of Giants (1959), Josie and the Pussy Cats in Outer Space (1972), The Six Million Dollar Man (1974), Space: 1999 (1976) and The Adventures of Superboy (1988-1989).
