Frank Spotnitz is an American screenwriter and producer known for his work on The X-Files as a writer and executive producer for eight of the series' nine seasons. Spotnitz worked with Chris Carter as president of Carter's Ten thirteen productions. He also worked as a writer and producer on Carter's other series Millennium, The Lone Gunmen and Harsh Realm. Spotnitz' most recent work includes writing and executive producing the reimagined series Night Stalker and the creation of the 2007 pilot A.M.P.E.D...
