Frank Scully

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Frank Scully was an author.

A well-known writer for Variety, he is best known to Sci Fi fans for the first book-length treatment of flying saucers, Behind the Flying Saucers in 1950.

It has been suggested that his name was used ironically for Agent Dana Scully on The X-Files, since she was the skeptical one of the pair, and he is seen by many as more gullible than he should have been.
