Fireball XL5

Fireball XL5 was a TV series created by Gerry Anderson using a puppet animation technique dubbed supermarionation.

In the series, set in the 2060s, brave and handsome Colonel Steve Zodiac captained the spaceship Fireball XL5, along with his medical officer Venus, science officer and navigator Professor Mathew "Matt" Matic, and co-pilot Robert the Robot.

Thirty-nine episodes were originally broadcast on ITV in the U.K. in 19621963. The complete series was issued as a DVD boxed set in 2002.
