Finola Hughes (b. October 20, 1960, London, England) is an Emmy Award-winning English actress known for her roles in the soaps All My Children and General Hospital and the sitcom Blossom. Genre fans recognize Hughes as the mother of the Charmed ones, Patty Halliwell, on the series Charmed. Hughes is also known on the stage. She originated the role of Victoria in the London opening of Andrew Lloyd Weber's Cats.
Hughes made her genre debut in the 1980 musical The Apple and followed up with the musical Nutcracker alongside Joan Collins. In 1996, she voiced the role of Lara-El in Superman: The Animated Series and also Superman: The Last Son of Krypton. Other genre roles include Generation X in which she portrayed Emma Frost, and Tycus.
