Ferdy Mayne (Ferdinand Mayer-Boerckel) (March 11, 1916 – January 30, 1998) German-born film and TV actor based in Britain. Often cast as a smooth villain, he played vampires in the spoofs Dance of the Vampires (1967) and The Vampire Happening (1971), and Count Dracula in the TV series Frankenstein’s Auntie (1986). His many other credits include Hammer’s The Vampire Lovers (1970), Hawk the Slayer (1980), The Horror Star (1981), Howling II Stirba ─ Werewolf Bitch (1984) and Warlock: The Armageddon (1993).
