Fay Wray

Fay Wray (September 15, 1907August 8, 2004) was a Canadian-born American actress immortalized as Ann Darrow, the object of the giant ape’s affections, in the original King Kong (1933). She also exercised her lungs by screaming her way through Doctor X (1932), Mystery of the Wax Museum (1932), The Most Dangerous Game (1932), The Vampire Bat (1934), Black Moon (1934), and The Clairvoyant (aka The Evil Mind, 1935). The lights of the Empire State Building in New York were dimmed for fifteen minutes in her honor.
