Story

Tyrol receives a list of the arrested insurgents and discovers his wife, Cally is among them. He initially panics but Tigh quickly takes control an informs him they can now locate them using the recently cracked Cylon coordinate system. They calculate and prep a team to rescue them. The team is successful in rescuing Cally and the others and destroying the Centurions. The Cylon Cavil who accompanied the insurgent caravan is also injured along with some of the NCP. Cavil commits suicide after Seelix leaves him to die slowly.

At Breeders Canyon, Sharon meets with Anders to discuss the rescue plans. They are attacked by centurions and several resistance members are killed. The Centurions are taken out by an RPG and following the attack, they recover a map. It is the same one passed to Ellen Tigh given the task of destroying it. Anders realizes she may have tipped the Cylons off.

Number Three has dreams of a tent and of herself holding baby Hera. The dreams lead her to visit human oracle Selloi at her tent, the same one in her dream. Selloi tells her Hera is alive but that holding the child will undo all the Cylons have accomplished on the planet. She later questions Dr. Cottle about his decision to have Hera's remains cremated and finds it unlikely he wouldn't study the child first. Cottle states simply that it was Roslin's orders.

On Galactica, Commander Adama and Lee say their goodbyes as Adama prepares to rescue the colonists. Lee leaves for Pegasus with orders to wait 18 hours for Galactica to return before leaving to continue the search for Earth with the rest of the fleet.

In preparation for the coming rescue, Roslin orders Anders to guard Maya and Hera no matter the cost. Two men are assigned to protect her. Gunnery Sergeant, Erin Mathias meets with Roslin and Zarek to discuss the rescue plans and Mathias learns that the colonists are prepared having executed evacuation exercises under the guise of fire drills.

Cavil meets with the other Cylons and Baltar and expresses regret at the bloodshed. The Cylons are unsure what to do to establish order. Number Five states that should things become more problematic, they can always nuke the city.

Sharon visits the New Caprica Detention Center to retrieve the launch keys for the colonial ships. Three sees and recognizes her and tells her that her daughter is still alive. Sharon is unwilling to believe her, insisting Adama wouldn't lie to her. She shoots Three in the legs rather than kill her.

Having received news that the launch keys have been collected. Adama and his crew prepare for the jump to New Caprica.
