Evan Almighty is a 2007 comedic fantasy film. It is a sequel to the 2003 comedy, Bruce Almighty. Morgan Freeman and Steve Carrell return from the previous cast. Steve Carrell fills the role of title character Evan Baxter. Now a congressman, Evan is summoned by God Almighty to build an Ark.
