Euronda is a planet on the series Stargate SG-1 inhabited by the Eurondans a people divided by war. The planet's stargate is in possession of a technologically advanced people who live in an underground facility. The planet's surface has been poisoned and rendered uninhabitable. Most of their population is in stasis and the technology that allows them to survive and continue their war is a massive generator powered by Deuterium.

The Eurondans called on Earth for help in their war against their enemies known to them as "breeders". The requested vast amounts of heavy water in exchange for their advanced technology. Earth agreed to the exchange but later discovered their new allies were responsible for the war. The facility was designed to poison the atmosphere and wipe out the rest of the population, who, to their disgust, bred indiscriminately with no regard for genetic purity.

This realization led to Teal'c and Jack O'Neill's decision to guide enemy bombers to locate the underground facility using the Eurondans neural interface-controlled drones against them. Without additional heavy water supplies from Earth to keep their generator and by extension their protective shield going, the Eurondan's facility was destroyed and their knowledge with them.
