Ethan Phillips

Ethan Phillips (February 8, 1955 - ) is an American actor born in Long Island, New York.He is best known for his regular role as Neelix in Star Trek: Voyager.

Phillips is the only boy in a family with six children. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in English Literature and earned his Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Cornell University. His acting career began on the New York stage in plays on and off-Broadway. He appeared in "Lips Togther Teeth Apart" with the Manhattan Theater Club and "Modigliani" at the Astor Place.

His long career in television began in Ragtime. He was a member of the cast of the comedy Benson and guest starred on several popular series including , Law & Order, Marblehead Manor, and Murphy brown. He has appeared in three Star Trek series. He played Dr. Farek in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Menage a Troi". He appeared in a small role in Star Trek: First Contact, and guest starred on the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Acquisition as Ulis.

Other genre appearances include episodes of The Twilight Zone and , Homeboys in Outer Space, Critters and Cerebral Print: The Secret Files. He has voiced roles in Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force Star Wars: Force Commander, Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
