Eragon is a 2003 fantasy novel by Christopher Paolini. The novel is Paolini's first and also the first in his planned Inheritance Cycle series. It is followed by the novel Eldest. The novel was adapted for the screen in the 2006 movie of the same name.
Ergaon centers on a farm boy, Eragon, living in Alagaësia and his dragon Saphira.
