Elizabeth Hoffman (b. February 8, 1927, Corvallis, Oregon) is an American actress best known to genre fans for her appearance as Dr. Catherine Langford on the series Stargate SG-1. Hoffman made her genre debut in the horror movie Fear No Evil in 1981. She has guest starred on Little House on the Prairie, The A-Team, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Matlock, and thirtysomething, and appeared in the volcano disaster Dante's Peak as Ruth.
