Earth 2 was a short-lived 1994 sci-fi series that originally aired on NBC beginning in the fall season. The series starred actors who later became well known to genre fans, including Debrah Farentino, Clancy Brown, and Antonio Sabato Jr. Set in the future, it concerned a group of humans, who, tired of life aboard space stations orbiting a dying Earth, take off on a journey to a distant planet to start over.

Tim Curry was a notable guest star in several episodes as the sinister Gaal.
