EXistenZ is a 1999 sci fi film from David Cronenberg. Jennifer Jason Leigh plays game designer Allegra Geller. During a testing of her latest virtual reality game, she is attacked by an assassin using a bizarre organic gun. She manages to escape her attacker with bodyguard Ted Pikul (Jude Law) but her organic gaming device that contains the only copy of the eXistenZ game program, is damaged. Attempting to examine the game, she asks Ted to agree to have a gameport installed in his body so they can play the game together. The ensuing adventure causes them to have difficulty distinguishing reality from fiction.
