Dwight Frye

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Dwight Frye (February 22, 1899November 7, 1943) American character actor and accomplished concert pianist who began his career on Broadway. Arriving in Hollywood in 1930, his portrayal of the memorable fly-eating Renfield in Dracula (1930) quickly resulted in him being typecast as madmen and hunchbacked assistants, notably the sadistic Fritz in Frankenstein (1931) and the ghoulish Karl in Bride of Frankenstein (1935). His scenes were cut from Son of Frankenstein (1939). Unable to find regular dramatic work, despite cameos in such films as Dead Men Walk (1943) and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943), he was reduced to playing a voyeur in a stag film. At the time of his death, the actor was working nights designing bombsights to support his family. His death certificate listed his profession as “tool designer”.

It's usually best to give a very general overview first, then specific details. When including the plot or essential details of a story in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
