Duane Jones (February 2, 1936 – July 22, 1988) Black American actor. As Ben, the hero of George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (1968), he meets an ironic end. Jones’ other credits include Ganja and Hess (1973), To Die For (1988) and Vampires (1988).
