DreamWorks, LLC also known as DreamWorks SKG, DreamWorks Pictures and DreamWorks Studios is an American film studio and a subsidiary of the Paramount Motion Pictures Group, which is, in turn, owned by Viacom. Best known for their 3-D animated films, DreamWorks develops, produces, and distributes various entertainment films, games and TV programs. DreamWorks was founded by famed producers Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen and was sold in February 2006 to Viacom. The company's current CEO is Stacey Snider. Katzenberg heads DreamWorks Animation.
