Drama

<span class="SFPTagline"> From SCIFIPEDIA </span>

Historically, a drama was any sort of dramatic presentation by actors with a plot. Classical dramas took one of two forms: the comedy (lessons learned from human failures) and the tragedy (main character(s) die(s) or are banished).

This was in comparison to a farce, which was usually comprised as a collection of skits with no plot-line holding them together.

Modern use of the term "drama" has changed to be a reference to any stage or cinematic presentation that is not a comedy.
