Dracula is a 1979 movie based on a revival stage production of John L. Balderston's 1927 adaptation of Hamilton Deane's play based on Bram Stoker's novel Dracula.
Dracula, directed by John Badham, starred Frank Langella as Count Dracula, Laurence Olivier as Professor Van Helsing,
Donald Pleasence as Dr. Jack Seward and Kate Nelligan as Lucy Seward.
W. D. Richter's screenplay opened up the plot to include dramatic action sequences, and the film abandoned the stylized, predominantly black-and-white (with red accents) production and costume design of the stage version designed by Edward Gorey in favor of a lush, romantic look created by production designer Peter Murton and costumes by Julie Harris.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
