Dracula is a 1931 movie based a stage production of John L. Balderston's 1927 adaptation of Hamilton Deane's play based on Bram Stoker's novel Dracula.

In the Universal Pictures release, Bela Lugosi reprised his stage role as Count Dracula in a performance that defined the character forever in the popular imagination, elegantly dressed in white tie and tails with a dramatic opera cloak.

It's usually best to give a very general overview to a story first, then plot details. When including the plot or essential details in your article (which could ruin the pleasure of discovery for some readers), it is important to include the spoiler tag before any give-away material.
