Dirk Benedict (b. march 1, 1945, Helena, Montana) is an American actor known to genre fans in the role of Starbuck in the original version of Battlestar Galactica by Glen A. Larson. He would later reprise his role as Starbuck in one episode of the short lived spin-off series Galactica 1980. He also starred in the A-Team. In one episode The A-Team he went to a science fiction convention and a person dressed up as a Cylon walked by him (you can see this in the opening credits).
