Dianne Wiest (March 28, 1948, Kansas City, Missouri) is two-time Academy Award–winning actor. Weist won Oscars for her roles in Hannah and her Sisters (1986) and Bullets Over Broadway (1995). She played Peg Boggs, the Avon lady with the best intentions to help the title character in Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands (1990). Dianne also starred in the made-for-television fantasy The 10th Kingdom (2000) and was featured in such big-screen genre fare as Practical Magic (1998) and The Lost Boys (1987).
