Plot

On Gamilon, General Lysis is court-martialed and sentenced to die for destroying the base on Balan, but Leader Desselok pardons Lysis, believing that he is the only general available to destroy the Star Force. The Gamilons have a new weapon, a drill missile, which they believe will disable the wave motion gun, so General Lysis sends a challenge to Captain Avatar to meet at the edge of the Megallanic Cloud for a climactic battle, and Captain Avatar accepts the challenge. As the Argo approaches the battle area, the Gamilons wait behind a large black cloud.
