Death Takes a Holiday is a 1934 movie directed by Mitchell Leisen. Frederich March stars as death. Death takes some time off to pose as mortal Prince Sirki and spends his time with Duke Lambert and his guests at his estate. Though other women shy away, Grazia is drawn to him though the Duke expected her to marry his son. The film was remade by Universal Pictures in 1971 for television and starred Yvette Mimieux, Monte Markham, Myrna Loy, Melvyn Douglas and Bert Convy. The movie was remade again in 1998 with the title Meet Joe Black. The 1998 film starred Brad Pitt, Claire Forlani, and Anthony Hopkins.
