Deadly Skies is a 2005 TV movie directed by Sam Irvin written by keith Shaw and starring Antonio Sabato Jr. and Rae Dawn Chong. The Canadian- American production was filmed in British Columbia and is also known as Force of Impact in Canada and Ultimate Limit in the UK.

Plot

Leading astronomer, Madison (Chong) is having problems convincing authorities that her mathematical calculations predicting a large asteroid heading for Earth are accurate. With only hours until impact, she must work with former Air Force officer, Richard Donovan (Sabato) to resurrect an abandoned Military laser project that can destroy the asteroid before it hits the planet. Unfortunately, the laser is being guarded by military officers with orders to shoot to kill and they must get past them to save the planet.
