David Warner

David Warner (b. July 29, 1941) is a British actor who, after a promising career in the 1960s and ’70s with films such as Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment (aka Morgan!, 1966), From Beyond the Grave (1973), The Omen (1976), and Providence (1977), moved to Hollywood and subsequently wasted his talent walking through numerous exploitation films and TV movies such as Nightwing (1979), The Island (1980), Tron (1982), Frankenstein (1984), My Best Friend Is a Vampire (1987), Waxwork (1988), Grave Secrets (1989), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991), Cast a Deadly Spell (1991), The Unnamable II: The Statement of Randolph Carter (1992), Wild Palms (1993), Body Bags (1993), Necronomicon (1993), Beastmaster: The Eye of Braxus (1995), Naked Souls (1995), Wing Commander (1998), and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (2002).

Warner has also turned up in such major films as Time After Time (1979), Time Bandits (1981), The Man with Two Brains (1983), The Company of Wolves (1984), Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), In the Mouth of Madness (1994), Scream 2 (1997), Planet of the Apes (2001), and Sweeney Todd (2006), but again with variable results. He was a regular on TV’s Twin Peaks from 1990-91.
