David Slade (b. September 26, 1969) is a British director. Slade has directed videos for the Stone Temple Pilots, Aphex Twins and 3 Colours Red. He made his feature film directorial debut with the 2005 independent film, Hard Candy. His first genre film was the short film Do Geese See God? starring Blair Underwood. In 2007 Slade directed his first horror film, the vampire film 30 Days of Night starring Melissa George and Josh Hartnett.
In 2008, Slade will direct the psychological thriller, Unthinkable.
