David Hedison (May 20, 1927 Providence, Rhode Island - ) (AKA Al Hedison) is an American actor.
One of his first big roles, that of scientist Andre Delambre in the 1957 version of The Fly, may be his most memorable for genre fans. His big screen career also includes The Lost World (1960) as Ed Malone, and playing James Bonds' CIA colleague, Felix Leiter. He played the latter role twice and more than 15 years apart in Live and Let Die and Licence to Kill.
However, he also became very well-known to TV Sci Fi fans. He was Captain Lee Crane in the Irwin Allen series of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. He was a frequent guest on Fantasy Island.
