David Eigenberg

David Eigenberg (b. May 17, 1964, Long Island, New York) is an American actor born on Long Island to Harry and Beverly Eigenberg. He may be best known for his role on the HBO series Sex and the City as Steve Brady. He has also appeared in several popular series. Eigenberg grew up in Illinois and after moving around the suburbs of Chicago, his family finally settled in Naperville. He began acting in his adolescence, performing in community theatre. He landed his first role in a production of Kurt Vonnegaut's "Happy Birthday Wanda June".

Following high school, he attended the University of Iowa to study social work. He also enlisted in the USMC reserves. He continued to pursue theater and eventually applied to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and was accepted. Eigenberg made his film debut in Rude Awakening in 1989 and has since had a career mainly guest starring on various television series. His genre appearances include Daybreak, The Mothman Prophecies, The 4400, and Ghost Whisperer,
