David Anders

David Anders Holt (b. March 11, 1981) is an American actor born in Grants Pass, Oregon to Dr. Tony Holt and Jori Holt. He has two brothers, Jason and Arik and one sister, Maili. He is best known as Julian Stark on the ABC series Alias.

Anders began acting in school plays but during his teen years he focused mainly on sports, enjoying basketball and Tennis. At 17, he appeared in a regional theater production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Other stage appearances included Our Town, and My Fair Lady. He graduated from Grants Pass High School.

Anders was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena California but chose to begin his professional career instead. He appeared on stage in Rockne: The Musical and The Diary of Anne Frank. His first television role was in the series So Little Rime. He made his film debut in The Source as Booji. He soon landed a role on Alias as the British assassin, Julian Sark. The role won him many fans. Other roles have included guest appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed, CSI: Miami and Deadwood and the feature film Circadian Rhythm.

In the upcoming series of Heroes, Anders is expected to play the role of Kensei.
