Daryl Christine Hannah (b. December 3, 1960, Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress known for her prominent genre roles in the scifi classic Blade Runner and the romantic fantasy Splash opposite Tom Hanks. Hannah attended the University of Southern California School of Theatre. She made her film debut in Brian De Palma's The Fury. Among her notable film appearances are roles in Steel Magnolias alongside Julia Roberts, Memoirs of an Invisible Man with Chevy Chase, Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman , Addams Family Reunion, and My Favorite Martian. Hannah's career took a downturn in the late 90s but was revived with her appearance in Quentin Tarrantino's Kill Bill. in 2006, she starred in the TV movie, Final Days of Planet Earth playing an alien queen.
In 2008, Hannah appears in Dark Honeymoon, Shark Swarm, and Love and Virtue.
