Dale Alan Midkiff (b. July 1, 1959) is an American actor born in Chance, Maryland to Jean and Thomas Midkiff. He is familiar to genre fans in a variety of roles including Darien Lambert from the series Time Trax. Midkiff attended Edgewood High School. He began acting while still in school playing Jack in a local children's theater production of Jack and the Beanstalk. He won a drama award from his high school. He went on to attend Salisbury University in Maryland where he majored in Communication Arts. He later moved to New York to pursue his acting career.
Early roles includeStreetwalkin, Nightmare Weekend and an appearance on Dallas: The Early Years. He also played Elvis Presley in the TV Movie Elvis and Me. Midkiff's genre movie roles include Pet Sematary as Louis Creed, Plymouth, Love Potion No. 9, Visitors of the Night, The Crow: Salvation, Alien Fury: Countdown to Invasion, Route 666 Deep Rescue and Flight of the Living Dead. He has also made guest appearances on The Outer Limits, and Mysterious Ways.
In 2008, Midkiff stars in the disaster film 2012 Doomsday.
Personal Life
Midkiff is the second of eight children. He has six brothers and one sister. He married Joan O Connor on March 22, 1997 and they have three children; Cole, Eliza Rose, and Ava Marie.
