DC Comics is a publishing house of comic books and graphic novels. Owned by the Time Warner company, notable characters and series under the DC banner are Batman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman,Green Lantern, and the Justice League. DC also publishes a line of adult horror/fantasy comic books under the title Vertigo, as well as their Elseworlds comics which place their characters in situations, times, or settings that are not part of the regular continuity.
