D-war (aka D-War) also known as D-War: Dragon Wars, is a 2007 film from Korean director Hyung-rae Shim . The film is based on the Korean legend that creatures will one day return to devastate the planet. Jason Behr stars as Ethan Kendrick, a reporter who investigates a series of inexplicable disasters and becomes drawn to a young woman, Sarah Daniels (Amanda Brooks) who may be connected to the occurrences.

Plot
Five hundred years ago in a small Korean village, a girl, Narin is born with the Yeoujio (dragon symbol able to grant wishes) within her. The mark indicates her future as a sacrifice to the predetermined good Imoogi. To ensure her protection and the certainty of the sacrifice, The Heavens send a Bochun and Haram to protect her. Bochun trains Haram as a knight for the task and when a Dark Imogi and his army destroy the village, searching for the Yeuijoo, Bochun tells Haram to take her to the good Imoogi.
Haram and Narin fall in love and are unable to sacrifice her life to the Good Imoogi. They instead, commit suicide together and are reincarnated 500 years later as Ethan Kendrick and Sarah Daniels in Los Angeles. Ethan and Sarah find each other again and are again faced with the sacrifice in order to save the city from the Dragons. FBI Agent, Campbell learns of the Imoogi's intentions and is determined to sacrifice Sarah to save Los Angeles while Ethan and Sarah must decide if their love is worth the devastation or if they have another choice.
