Cube is a 1997 low budget Canadian sci fi thriller directed by Vincenzo Natali. The film featured a small cast of six main actors each playing distinctly different characters all of whom awaken to find themselves inside a giant cube of thousands of possible rooms. They are all strangers to each other but each has a particular skill that in combination with those of the others may help them escape. Once they meet, they try to find a way out, hoping to discover why they were imprisoned.

The film has had two sequels, Cube 2: Hypercube and Cube Zero.
