Crusader in the Crypt was the 14th of 22 episodes of the steampunk science fiction TV series, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne.

Plot synopsis

The body of Phileas Fogg's father, Sir Boniface Fogg, is missing from the family church crypt. The Foggs retrn to the family estate to investigate, but superstitious locals and Prussian agents hamper their efforts.

While Jean Passepartout putters around in the laboratory trying to find a scientific answer to the body's disappearance, Verne plays with the bones of Saint Bartholomew - a sacred relic brought back from The Crusades. Rebecca Fogg visits the Gypsies and entertains an exorcist.

The mysterious "Crusader" in the crypt turns out to be an crash-landed alien in a UFO.
