Cree Summer (July 7, 1969 Los Angeles, California - ) is an American actor and voice artist.

Mainstream audiences came to know her as liberal "Freddie" Brooks in The Cosby Show spin-off, A Different World.

Her distinctive richly-textured (some would say raspy) voice has lent itself well to over 100 animated productions.

This has made her part of many well-known universes, including those of Spider-Man, Star Wars, and Batman.
