Comedy Central is an American basic cable channel.

Comedy Central is the result of a combining of HBO's Comedy Channel and the Viacom-owned HA!. It launched on April 1st, 1991 (although the Comedy Central name didn't come until June 1st).

The channel has been home to a number of Sci Fi works, including Drawn Together, Freak Show, Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the Sci Fi themed reality show, Battlebots.
