Colonial One is ship designed for commercial transport on the series Battlestar Galactica

Description

More a commuter shuttle than a starship, Colonial One serves as the principal residence and office of Colonial President Laura Roslin and is the "de facto" capital of the last known human government. Capable of mid-range hyperlight jumps, Colonial One is, unfortunately, a fuel-guzzler. Its jump drive also tends to be temperamental. In order to make room for President Roslin's office and its attendant staff, other civilian denizens of Colonial One currently reside in the cargo and baggage compartments, which have been retrofitted to accommodate passengers.

• Call sign: Given the call sign "Colonial One" when Laura Roslin was sworn in as President of the Twelve C.
• Restricted Area: Government offices on upper decks.
• Modification: 500 civilian passengers reside on lower decks
• Compact: Colonial One is small enough to dock aboard the Galactica.
