Clare Elizabeth Kramer (b. September 3, 1974) is an American actress born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Delaware, Ohio. She may be best remembered for her role as the evil god Glorificus on the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Kramer became interested in acting in her teens and following high school, moved to New York City to study at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. After earning her BFA, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting professionally.
She began her acting career on stage appearing in The Miracle Worker as Helen Keller and Light Up the Sky at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. She began appearing in films and on television in 1997, making her debut in the Kevin Kline comedy In & Out and following up with Vig. In 2000 she appeared with Buffy actress Eliza Dushku and Kirsten Dunst in the cheerleader comedy Bring it On. Also in 2000, she began her run on Buffy as Glory, a beautiful and powerful god, trapped in the body of a human. She followed up with guest roles on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Tru Calling, House M.D. and the movies The Skulls II, D.E.B.S., Mummy and' the Armadillo, The Gravedancers, The Thirst and The Fallen.
