Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve
Christopher Reeve (b. September 25, 1952 – October 10, 2004) was an American actor, writer, director, and producer born in New York City to journalist Barbara Johnson and professor Franklin Reeve. Reeve is best known for portraying Superman in the 1970s and 80s film series. Later in life, after suffering a devastating horse-riding accident that made him a quadriplegic, Reeve used his fame to draw attention to and gain funding for spinal cord injury research.
