Christopher Peter Demetral (b. November 14, 1976 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is best-known to sci fi viewers as the star and title character of the series, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne. Non science fiction fans may best know him as a star of the acclaimed HBO series Dream On, in which he played the character, Jeremy, for six years.
He has won critical acclaim in two motion pictures for television, Journey of the Heart for CBS and For Hope on ABC.
He is a veteran of the Los Angeles stage, having appeared at two of the city's most prestigious theaters, the Mark Taper Forum (as Sam in Making Noise Quietly) and the Ahmanson Theater, where he was seen as Joe Hapgood in the play Hapgood.
Honors include back-to-back Youth in Film Award for Best Actor in 1993 and 1994.

Demetral currently lives in North Carolina with his wife, Jana.
