Children of the Corn is a 1984 horror thriller based on the short story Children of the Corn by Stephen King. Several sequels were made. Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice opened in 1993 and Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest in 1995. The film's other sequels Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering, Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror, Children of the Corn 666: Isaac's Return and Children of the Corn: Revelation were released directly to video.

Plot

A young boy-preacher, Isaac, visits the small town of Gatlin, Nebraska and manages to convince the children to murder all the adults. A young couple attempts to get help but finds themselves trapped in a deserted town.
