Chicago, known as the "Windy City," is a large, influential, international city located in the state of Illinois in the United States. Chicago sits on the shore of Lake Michigan and it is the country's largest inland city and the third most populous with about 3 million people.

Chicago has produced numerous actors, artists, and writers. Yvonne Navarro, Frank M. Robinson, Gary Gianni, John Cusack, and Salli Richardson-Whitfield are just some of the many Chicagoans who've contributed to the sci-fi genre.
